GENERAL

  • WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?

    We are located in the heart of Lincoln on Nebraska Innovation Campus, The Scarlet Hotel offers a prime setting just minutes from downtown and the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. Our address is 2101 Transformation Drive.

  • HOW CAN I GET TO THE SCARLET FROM THE AIRPORT?

    The Scarlet Hotel offers a complimentary shuttle service available until 10:00 PM—just give us a call upon arrival, and we’ll be happy to arrange your pickup. We are conveniently located approximately 10 minutes from Lincoln Airport, and can also be easily reached by car, taxi, or rideshare services such as Uber or Lyft.

  • WHAT TIME IS CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT?

    Check-in begins at 4:00 PM. Early check-in may be available upon request, based on availability, and may incur a small fee.

    Check-out is at 11:00 AM. Late check-out can be requested, is subject to availability, and may also include a small fee.

  • IS PARKING AVAILABLE?

    Absolutely, parking is available on campus and is managed by the Nebraska Innovation Campus. Self-parking is offered for $20 per day in the north parking lot located behind the hotel entrance, and valet parking is available for $22 per day.

  • CAN I CHARGE MY ELECTRIC VEHICLE?

    Certainly, electric vehicle charging stations are available on Nebraska Innovation Campus, located less than a block from the hotel entrance.

  • WHAT IS THE CANCELLATION POLICY?

    You may cancel your reservation at no charge until 11:59 PM local hotel time, two days prior to arrival. Cancellations made after this deadline will incur a fee.

    Please note that cancellation policies can vary by rate and reservation type. We recommend reviewing your confirmation email for the most accurate details, as each rate plan may have its own specific terms.

  • IS THE SCARLET PET FRIENDLY?

    Absolutely! Furry family members are welcome at The Scarlet. A non-refundable pet fee of $75 per stay (up to 5 days) applies for up to 2 pets per room, with a maximum weight of 50 lbs per pet.

  • ARE THERE DAILY HOUSEKEEPING SERVICES?

    Absolutely, daily housekeeping is provided to ensure your room stays clean and comfortable throughout your stay.

  • CAN I STORE MY LUGGAGE?

    Absolutely! Our team would be happy to assist with luggage storage. Please give us a call at 531-300-6300, and we’ll make sure your belongings are safely stored.

  • DO YOU OFFER FREE WIFI?

    Wi-Fi is complimentary for Marriott Bonvoy members. Our team will be happy to enroll you at check-in, or you can sign up when making your reservation to lock in your member perks.

  • IS THERE AN ON-SITE FITNESS CENTER?

    Absolutely, The Scarlet Hotel features a fully equipped fitness center, along with a dedicated yoga room for stretching, movement, and relaxation.

  • IS THERE A POOL?

    The Scarlet Hotel does not have a pool on property.

  • IS THE SCARLET HOTEL PART OF MARRIOTT?

    Yes. The Scarlet is a Tribute Portfolio hotel, and is part of the Marriott Bonvoy family.

  • CAN GUESTS EARN MARRIOTT BONVOY POINTS AT THE SCARLET HOTEL?

    Absolutely! Guests can earn Marriott Bonvoy Rewards with every stay at the hotel.

  • HOW DO I BOOK A STAY AT THE SCARLET HOTEL?

    Guests may book directly on the official Scarlet website via the Book Now link or in the Marriott Bonvoy app. Booking direct is the best way to view current room types, eligible offers, and Marriott Bonvoy options in one place.

  • HOW MANY ROOMS AND SUITES DOES THE HOTEL OFFER?

    The Scarlet features 154 Nebraska-inspired guest rooms and suites.

  • WHAT MAKES THE GUEST ROOMS DISTINCTIVE?

    Each room is designed with Nebraska-inspired touches that pay tribute to local towns, innovators, and homegrown stories. The result is a stay that feels both polished and personal, with amenities selected for comfort and convenience.

  • WHAT ROOM TYPES ARE AVAILABLE?

    The hotel offers King Rooms, Double Queen Rooms, and Scarlet Suites. Suites include a separate living area and one king bed, offering additional space for relaxing or working comfortably.

  • WHAT IN-ROOM AMENETIES ARE AVAILABLE?

    In-room amenities include Wi-Fi, a 55-inch HDTV, a coffeemaker, mini refrigerator, in-room safe, workspace, sitting area, and select campus or city views. We also have rooms with hearing-- and mobility accessible features, and roll-in showers are available in select accommodations.

  • IS THE SCARLET HOTEL CLOSE TO THE UNIVERSITY OF NEBRASKA-LINCOLN?

    Yes. Located on Nebraska Innovation Campus, The Scarlet offers convenient access to the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, just minutes from both City Campus and East Campus.

  • IS THE SCARLET A GOOD HOTEL FOR HUSKER GAME DAYS AND CAMPUS VISITS?

    Absolutely! The hotel is the ideal home base for Husker fans, alumni, future students, researchers, and visitors. Convieniently located near both UNL campuses, Memorial Stadium, and the Bob Devaney Center.

  • WHAT IS THE MINIMUM AGE TO CHECK IN AT THE SCARLET HOTEL?

    Guests must be 21 years of age or older to check in at The Scarlet Hotel. A valid government-issued photo ID is required at check-in.

  • ARE CRIBS OR ROLLAWAY BEDS AVAILABLE?

    Cribs are available upon request for our youngest guests at no additional charge — just let us know ahead of your arrival and we'll have one ready. Please note that rollaway beds are not available at The Scarlet Hotel.

  • WHAT DINING OPTIONS ARE AVAILABLE ON-SITE?

    Guests can enjoy a variety of on-site dining experiences at The Scarlet Hotel. From locally inspired dishes at Well & Good on the first floor, to craft cocktails and rooftop views at Barred Owl on the 6th floor, to quick bites and coffee at Good Life Coffee Shop located in the lobby, there’s something for every mood and moment. Guests can also enjoy 24/7 grab-and-go snacks and quick bites conveniently located next to the coffee shop.

  • WHEN IS THE COFFEE SHOP OPEN?

    Good Life Coffee Shop

    Hours: Monday – Friday: 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM  |  Saturday – Sunday: 7:00 AM – 2:00 PM

  • WHERE CAN I HAVE BREAKFAST?
    Breakfast items are available at The Good Life Coffee Shop. Hours are Monday–Friday from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and Saturday–Sunday from 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM. View our menu here.
  • IS ROOM SERVICE AVAILABLE?

    Room service is not available at The Scarlet Hotel. However, guests can enjoy a variety of on-site dining options with take-out available, including Well & Good, The Barred Owl rooftop bar, The Good Life Coffee Shop, and 24/7 grab-and-go snacks in the lobby.

  • CAN LOCAL GUESTS VISIT WELL & GOOD AND BARRED OWL?

    Absolutely. Well & Good, Barred Owl and Good Life Coffee Shop welcome both hotel guests and the local community to enjoy The Scarlet’s dining experiences even if they are not staying overnight.

  • DOES THE BARRED OWL ROOFTOP BAR OPERATE YEAR-ROUND?

    The Barred Owl Rooftop Bar is open year-round, with seasonal adjustments to seating and operations as Nebraska weather allows. Whether you're catching a Nebraska sunset in the summer or warming up with a craft cocktail in the winter, the Barred Owl is a one-of-a-kind experience.
